GfK Consumer Confidence June 2026

• The GfK Consumer Confidence Index remained unchanged at -23 in June.
• One measure improved, two declined and two were unchanged compared with last month.

General economic situation

• Consumer perceptions of the general economic situation over the past 12 months fell two points to -49, six points lower than a year ago.
• Expectations for the general economic situation over the next 12 months increased two points to -36, eight points worse than June last year.

Personal finances

• The personal finances index for the past 12 months fell three points to -10, three points lower than June 2025.
• Expectations for personal finances over the next 12 months remained unchanged at -2, four points lower than this time last year.

Major purchases

• The Major Purchase Index remained unchanged at -20, four points lower than June last year.

Savings Index (not included in the overall measure)

• The Savings Index decreased two points to 20, seven points lower than the same time last year.
