GfK Consumer Confidence June 2025

• The GfK Consumer Confidence Index increased by two points to -18 in June.
• Two measures were up, and three measures remained unchanged

General economic situation

• Consumer perceptions of the general economic situation over the past 12 months rose three points to -43, eleven points lower than in June 2024.
• Expectations for the general economic situation over the next 12 months increased five points to -28, seventeen points lower than this time last year.

Personal finances

• The personal finances index for the past 12 months remains unchanged at -7, up three points from June 2024.
• Expectations for personal finances over the next 12 months also remains unchanged at +2, two points lower than this time last year.

Major purchases

• The Major Purchase Index is unchanged at -16 but is seven points higher than the same month last year.

Savings Index (not included in the overall measure)

• The Savings Index dropped further one point to +27, five points above this time last year.
